Overview

The Endeavor Health Performance Center serves as the primary training home for Chicago Fire FC, supporting daily operations for players, coaches, and technical staff. Designed as a purpose-built, professional-grade facility, the center required an exterior envelope that could balance durability, clean architectural expression, and long-term performance under demanding use conditions.

Blue Line supported the project by supplying Morin metal wall panel systems tailored to the facility’s modern aesthetic and functional requirements. The resulting exterior delivers a bold, cohesive presence while meeting the durability and constructability standards expected of a professional sports training environment.

Challenge

As a high-use athletic facility, the performance center demanded an exterior solution capable of handling frequent occupancy, rigorous operational schedules, and long-term exposure—without sacrificing architectural intent. Key challenges included:

Solution

Blue Line worked closely with the project team to deliver a coordinated Morin metal panel package that aligned performance, aesthetics, and constructability across the building envelope.

The exterior system incorporates multiple Morin panel profiles and flat stock to create visual rhythm, depth, and durability across the façade. Galvalume steel and aluminum panels finished in a Fluropon® Black coating were selected for their proven performance, corrosion resistance, and long-term color stability.

The system includes a mix of ribbed panels, flat stock, and perforated aluminum panels, allowing the design to balance solid massing with areas of visual lightness and airflow where required.

  • Multiple Morin panel profiles (including A-12, F-12, MX series)
  • 20- and 22-gauge Galvalume steel panels
