Blue Line Building Products is an independent manufacturers’ representative agency specializing in high-performance building envelope solutions. Founded in 2018 by industry veteran Matt Martino, our mission is to provide architects, contractors, and developers with expert guidance in selecting the right products for the right applications. With a deep understanding of architectural systems and a consultative approach, we simplify the specification process and ensure that each project meets its design, performance, and sustainability goals.

With nearly two decades of experience in architectural sales, Matt Martino established Blue Line Building Products to bring his extensive knowledge of ACM panels, insulated metal panels, and single-skin systems to the Midwest market. Our philosophy is built on trust, expertise, and collaboration—never hard selling, only solutions tailored to each project's unique needs. Our Team

Matt Martino

President & CEO

With nearly two decades of experience in architectural sales, Matt Martino has built a career around delivering high-quality building envelope solutions. He began in 2006 as an outside architectural sales rep for Doralco, specializing in ACM systems, sunshades, grillework, and entrance metal systems. In 2010, he joined Kingspan Group as a Midwest architectural sales rep for Benchmark by Kingspan, handling both architectural promotion and direct sales of insulated metal panels.

By 2014, Matt advanced to Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Morin Corporation, another Kingspan company, where he played a key role in driving business growth. In 2018, he launched his own independent rep agency to reduce travel demands while leveraging his extensive expertise across multiple product lines. As President of Blue Line Building Products, Matt is committed to providing the Midwest with top-tier design-assist services and innovative architectural solutions.

Jon Cobb

Outside Sales Manager

With 20 years of experience in the building products industry, Jon brings deep expertise in insulation, NFPA 285 wall assemblies, and building envelope solutions. A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, he has dedicated his career to helping architects, contractors, and developers find the right products for their projects.

Jon spent a decade working directly for leading manufacturers like Kingspan and Thermomass, gaining invaluable hands-on knowledge of high-performance building materials. Additionally, his eight years with ConstructConnect provided him with a strong understanding of construction planning and specification processes.

As Outside Sales Manager at Blue Line Building Products, Jon focuses on developing and maintaining strong relationships with carpenters and glaziers, ensuring they have the best solutions to meet their project needs. His consultative approach ensures that every recommendation is based on performance, efficiency, and long-term success.

Peggy Dowell

Inside Sales Manager

With nearly 20 years of experience in construction, technology, and business operations, Peggy Dowell brings a strong background in finance, operations, and sales support. She earned her degree in Organizational Management from Northern Illinois University before starting her career in accounting at one of the largest glass and glazing contractors in the U.S. She later earned an MBA in Accounting from Loyola University Chicago.

Peggy spent over a decade at Solstice/Kin + Carta, where she played a key role in operations, client finance, contract negotiations, and workforce planning. She helped scale the company, supported multiple acquisitions, and led major integration efforts. After stepping away to focus on family, she returned to the industry in 2024.

As Inside Sales & Operations Lead at Blue Line Building Products, Peggy manages quotes and pipeline for Morin, coordinates sample orders from manufacturers, and organizes Lunch & Learn sessions for industry partners. She also supports sales teams with strategic initiatives and collaborates with Matt and a third-party development team on Builder Pipeline, an innovative e-commerce platform.
